Zinc Oxide Healing Salve with Comfrey, is a moisturizing salve that gently soothes and aids in healing burned, dry, injured, or irritated skin. It is formulated with a variety of oils and butter, combined with non-Nano zinc oxide and an herbal infusion of Comfrey plant.
The use of non-Nano zinc oxide provides a SPF of 20 against both UVA and UVB rays. This product is suitable for all skin types because the size of non-Nano zinc particles are larger, making it unlikely for them to be absorbed by skin and cause irritation. The large size of the zinc particles, provides the additional benefit of creating a larger physical barrier to reflect the sun’s rays and protect your skin.
Along with zinc, the infusion of Comfrey plant in this salve provides additional skin benefits. Comfrey contains a compound called allantoin, which is said to aid in softening skin and reducing inflammation. In addition, Comfrey contains rosmarinic acid which further aid in protecting skin from UV damage.
This salve is paraben free, paraffin free, and environmentally friendly*
Directions: For topical use only! Take out desired amount of healing salve, and apply across either sun-exposed skin, for UV protection, or on areas with skin irritation. Re-apply every 2 hours if using this product as sun-protection.
