Herbal Anti-Wrinkle Balm

Herbal Anti-Wrinkle Balm: is a botanical infusion of Butterfly Pea Flower, Calendula and Nettle with Vitamin E. This infusion was specially crafted with herbs to aid in eliminating fine lines and wrinkles, and with Vitamin E to soften and help retain hydration in the skin. Apply to the under-eye area and where you notice the formation of fine lines. It is also suitable to be applied across your entire face or on dry, irritated patches of skin.

Butterfly Pea Flower contains many antioxidants that aid in minimizing fine lines. The chemical compounds found in these flowers work against glycation to keep your skin looking smooth. Glycation is a process caused by the presence of excess glucose in the skin fibers, which creates an internal reaction where the excess sugar molecules adhere to collagen and elastin proteins. This leads to wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and loss of skin elasticity.  In addition, butterfly pea helps your skin retain moisture and promote lipid balance, which keeps your skin looking plump and youthful.

Calendula has anti-inflammatory properties which help calm redness, irritation and can offer relief for dry skin conditions such as eczema. This plant contains fatty acids that help hydrate the skin and improves your skin’s ability to retain moisture, resulting in the reduction of fine lines. Calendula also encourages collagen production which leads to firmer, more youthful skin.

The final plant infused in this balm is Nettle. It’s a plant rich in antioxidants that help protect the skin from environmental aggressors such as pollution, UV rays, or extreme temperatures. Furthermore, these antioxidants contain anti-aging properties through inhibiting enzymes that degrade the collagen in your skin and lead to the formation of wrinkles
